This research entitled (The position of titles and images in newspaper design)، this research used the descriptive type and content analysis method،
which used both newspapers (Khabat and Erbil) as an example from (1/1/2023) to (31/9/2023).
The researcher selected (30) numbers from each newspaper and used artificial years to obtain the issues of both newspapers. This research is in the field of newspapers in general and design in particular. The researcher has tried to explain the ways that a newspaper takes to use appropriate images and titles in the whole pages and specially in the first page of (Khabat and Erbil) newspaper.
The aim of this research is to know the design of titles and images and to become familiar with the ways of designing and publishing newspapers،
also to know the position of the two genders in the design of both Khabat and Erbil newspapers. To get more information the researcher did an interview with the writer and the designer of both newspapers، and for analyzing data and informations used statistical tools based on SPSS.
The most important conclusions reached by the researcher are:
• Both Khabat and Erbil newspapers have political titles because both newspapers are political.
• Both newspapers paid great attention to political images because they are political newspapers.
• Both newspapers (Khabat and Erbil) most of the photos used on the front pages of the newspapers are (Close Up) type.
Knee joint osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative joint disease where the knee's articular cartilage gradually deteriorates. This condition affects a large number of individuals globally and can result in substantial pain, restricted functionality, and alterations in joint structure.
Aim of the study: To evaluate the effect of biomechanical alignment for patients with knee joint OA.
Materials and Methods: 40 patients were participated in this study, their ages between 30-80 years, both female and male. The patients were diagnosed by Rheumatologists and Orthopedists regarding their knee pain. The participants are divided into two groups: group A is experimental group 20 patients who underwent usual OA treatment with biomechanical intervention and group B is control group 20 patients who underwent usual OA treatment of physiotherapy and medication. The data was collected at Rizgary Teaching Hospital and Erbil Teaching Hospital during the period December 2021 to july 2023.
Results: The results showed that both groups were effective in decreasing pain and improving physical functions, in the study group the average of overall post pain score (1.10) is lower than the average of pre pain score (2.9) and the mean difference is (1.8). In the control group the average of overall post pain score (1.80) is lower than the average of pre pain score (2.7) and the mean difference is (0.9). It means that the study group is more effectively treated than the control group.
Conclusion: The reduction of knee joint pain, improving physical activities and realign the malalignment of the knee joint after using lateral wedge outsole are demonstrated.
This dissertation presents a comprehensive investigation into the development of a neoteric design for the innovative dew point evaporative cooler (DPEC). The DPEC is a groundbreaking cooling device possessing energy efficiency (i.e., coefficient of performance) higher than 20 that makes it super performing cooling machine when compared to the traditional vapor compression refrigeration systems which have energy efficiency of around 3. The DPEC depends only on the evaporative cooling mechanism of water with innovative air flow arrangement inside its heat and mass exchanger which makes it a complicated irreversible thermodynamic machine. The proposed shell and design for the DPEC offers further enhancement in its performance with aiming to replace the conventional high energy consuming cooling devices.
