Both Erbil Polytechnic University and Duhok Polytechnic University Conduct Meeting

On Thursday, 26^th of May 2022, our university Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki received the Duhok Polytechnic University Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Ari Adeel and her delegation.

In this meeting, the Duhok Polytechnic University congratulated the EPU Rector on his new Rector-ship position, and he assured to develop their relationship more. Both universities agreed to do their best to succeed in the International Conference of the EPU and the DPU with UTHM of Malaysia, which they decided to hold in November 2022.

It is worth mentioning that the upcoming conference includes Humanitarian and Social Science that consists of several fields like: (Administration, Accounting, Economy, law, Journalism, and Financial Science and Banking. It is supposed that the research and paper application gate will be opened for the Conference Scientific Committee.

Erbil Polytechnic University Rector Visits Shaqlawa Technical College

On Wednesday, 25th of May 2022, the university Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, accompanied by the university Rector Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Nageb Toma Bato, visited the Shaqlawa Technical College Deanship. The Dean of the college received them.

During his visit, the EPU Rector and his delegation visited the Students Examination Hall and the Higher Committee of Examination. At the end of the visit, His Excellency Asst. Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir honored the Shaqlawa Technical College Deanship’s valuable works and wished them and the students success.

Erbil Polytechnic University Receives Georgia Ambassador In Iraq

On Sunday 22^nd of May 2022, the Erbil Polytechnic University Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhammad Tahir Harki received the Georgia ambassador in Iraq and Kurdistan Region, Dr. Zaza Kandelaki, and his delegation.

In this meeting, Asst. Prof. Dr. Edrees Harki retailed a summary about the EPU and its foundation history for the guests, and on the opposite side, the delegation members talked about Georgia Country Universities. The Ambassador of Georgia expressed his appreciation for realizing more information about the Erbil Polytechnic University and stepping forward to build a relationship between the Georgia universities and the Kurdistan Region Universities, particularly the EPU.

Also, in this meeting, the Head of the International Relations Office Department of the university, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ranj Sirwan Abdullah talked about our university’s relationships with world universities. He shed light on the EPU strategy and its aim toward internationalization.

Erbil Polytechnic University Arranges One Day workshop For Mergassor Technical Institute Staff

On Sunday 16^th of May 2022, in collaboration with Mergassor Technical Institute, the Scientific Research Center of the University conducted a one-day workshop, “Developing the Talents and Academic Capacity of the Institute Staff.”

The General Director of the Scientific Research Center Asst. Prof. Dr. Hemen Kakakhan Awlla, the International Relations Office Director Asst. Prof. Dr. Ranj Sirwan Abdullah, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Omer Yassin and Mr. Nazim Hassan delivered the workshop.

At the end of the workshop, the Mergassor Technical Institute Dean appreciated the Scientific Research Center delegation and offered certificates to them and the workshop participants.
