On Tuesday the 9th of August 2022, Erbil Polytechnic University Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki received a number of our university students who were supposed to visit Malaysia to perform their summer training program. This visit is a part of a student exchange program between the EPU and the world universities.
In a meeting where the University Rector Assistant for Scientific Affairs, the International Relations Office Department Director, and the Head of the Cultural Relations Unit of the International Relations Office Department were present, his Excellency the University Rector gave a summary of Malaysia and its progress in almost all fields especially in scientific, academic, and culture of living together in this country.
The University Rector also hoped that the students’ upcoming visit make them achieve new knowledge. He assured the University Presidency’support and urged the International Relations Office to be in touch with them whenever they need support and cooperation.
Moreover, his Excellency the University Rector advised the students to attempt to mention Kurdistan’s development in their seminars and activities in Malaysia in the academic, scientific, innovational, and multicultural nation fields.
The students expressed their sincere gratitude for the opportunity the University Rector gave to them to get familiar with the cultural difference of other countries through their visit. They hoped such trips would continue in the future.
