Erbil Polytechnic University Rector Receives Interior Ministry Delegation

On Tuesday the 2nd of August 2022, Erbil Polytechnic University Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki received a delegation of the Crime Evidences General Directorate Interior Ministry of Kurdistan Regional Government in his office at the university presidency. The Interior Ministry delegation members consisted of Brigadier General Sarkawt Jalal Hassan, Colonel Araz Muhamad Mawlud, and Captain Araz Latif Hamad.

In a meeting, both the Erbil Technical Medical Institute Dean Asst. Prof. Mr. Umed Arshad Hawezi, Mergasur Technical Institute Dean Dr. Talib Omer discussed both parties’ collaboration to provide necessary things of the library and practical lecturers for the Crime Evidences Department Students of the Erbil Technical Medical Institute to be ready for the new academic study year.

Erbil Technical Health and Medical College of Erbil Polytechnic University Has conducted Training

The physiotherapy department of the Erbil Technical Health and Medical College held a training program course titled “Up-to-date Techniques in Physiotherapy” that continued for three days, from  01/08.2022 to 03/08/2022. This course was specified for the third-year students and assistant lab technicians that were presented practically and theoretically.

The presenters of the training were the Head of the Physiotherapy Department, Dr. Mahdi Khaled Qadir, Assistant Lab PT Mardin Salem, and Assistant Lab PT Ismail Muhsin Mohammad.

Erbil Polytechnic University Rector Receives Nizwa University Representative of Oman Sultanate

On Wednesday the 3rd of August 2022, the university Rector Asst. Pro. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki received Mr. Hamdan Said Malhi Al-Amri Assistant Dean for the Deanship of Student Affairs and Society Services (DSASS) and Director for Social Welfare Center of Oman University-Oman Sultanate.

In a meeting where both the EPU Rector Assistant for Scientific Affairs and Students Affairs were available, they discussed the signing of the memorandum of understanding between our university and Nizwa University to strengthen the academic and scientific relationships and student and staff exchange.

It is worth mentioning that Mr. Hamdan Said Malhi Al-Amri Assistant Dean for the Deanship of Student Affairs and Society Services (DSASS) and Director for Social Welfare Center of Oman University-Oman Sultanate, supervises two Nizwa University Students that accompanied by five students of the Nablus University of Palestine to do summer training in our university.

Erbil Polytechnic University Hosts A Number of Arab Countries Universities Students For Summer Training Program

In collaboration with the League of Arab States, Erbil Polytechnic University annually exchanges several students with Arab Universities to develop our relationship and internationalize our University. This year, several Oman Sultanate and Palestine University students came to Kurdistan Region to do summer training at our University.  

After the participation of our University in the 27th Student Amendment of Arab States League universities to accomplish summer training program, recently seven students, five of which are Palestine citizens and the two others are from Oman Sultanate are in the Kurdistan Region for fifteen days from 31st of July till 15th of August to perform their summer training program. After fulfilling their training, the EPU Rector will offer them the participation certificate.

 Our third-year university students are supposed to visit Arab countries’ universities to conduct their summer training to be familiar with cultural differences and benefit from these countries studying experiences.
