On Sunday, 3rd of April 2022, the Erbil Polytechnic University Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Kawa Abdulkareem Sherwani rewarded certificates to seventy-nine participating students in a programme arranged by the EPU in collaboration with the Imperial English U.K., which they set for our university students.

In this ceremony, the EPU Rector Assistants, several EPU Presidency Directors, and Supervisor lecturers, including Dr. Selar Otghman, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Omer Yassin and Ms. Arian Hamza were present in which the EPU Rector awarded certificates to the students who participated in the programme. The programme lasted for one year, from 01/03/2021 to 01/03/2022.

The attended students of the three colleges of the Erbil Technical Administration, Engineering and Health received the lessons through an application programme. The Erbil Polytechnic University is the first governmental university that offers such lessons to the students, which has a British international level and gives certificates from Imperial English U.K. College. These certificates were sent online and certified by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).

Within the activities of the International Relations Office Department of the EPU Presidency an international training course was opened by the this department in the programming and simulation field at both Erbil Technology College and Erbil technical Engineering College that will continue for five days. The lecturers and higher education students will participate in this course.

It is worth mentioning that this activity is within the Memorandum of Understanding Agreement points which was signed by Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences of Germany and our university in which the recent and newest developments of the fields were clarified for the attendees theoretically and practically.

This training course was specialized for the EPU lecturers and post graduate students in the programming and simulation fields that lasted for five days, every day for five hours in the Erbil technology college and Erbil Technical Engineering college.

On Wednesday 30^th of March 2022, under the supervision of the university Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Kawa Abdulkareem Sherwani and the Presence of the Erbil Governor Umed Xoshnaw, the Head of the Branch Two of the Parti Democratic of Kurdistan Mr. Ahmed Kani, the Head Official of the Nawchai Aso Mr. Lawand Dizayi, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Botan Majid Asngar, the annual festival “Technology and Invention Festival 4” was held at the Erbil Technology College.

At this festival, the students and lecturers introduced and presented many of their products in a modern way with a high quality which were admired by the guests and audience.

It is worth mentioning that the Erbil Technology College yearly holds this festival in which the scientific and technological products of the students will be shown produced during two years of their studying.

Within the EPU Presidency Exterior Activities on Wednesday 30^th of March 2022, the Exterior Activities Directorate of the Erbil Polytechnic University Presidency completed the students’ football league at the Erbil Technical Administration Institute Yard.

In this activity, our university Assistant for the Students Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Yousif Mustafa Rasul, the Erbil Technical Administration Institute Dean, several University Presidency Directors, and the Head of the Scientific Departments were present.

At the final game between both Erbil Technical Health and Medical College students and the Erbil Technical Administration College students teams, they both equaled by two goals 2-2; that is why they played a penalty shootout. The Erbil Technical Administration College Students team could win and become the league’s champion.

At the end of the game, the university Rector Assistant and the deans rewarded the best players, referees, and league organizers.
