The book introduction ceremony for “Kurdish Refugees in Iran 1974-1979” was held in the presence of the Rector of the university.

The official presentation of the book “Kurdish Refugees in Iran 1974-1979” was held in the presence of Prof. Dr.Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, the Rector of Erbil Polytechnic University, took a place.

The ceremony to introduce the book “Refugees of Kurdistan in Iran 1974-1979,” written by Dr. Fattah Mohamed Walat Zhery, took place at Shaklawa Technical College. The ceremony was attended by the Vice-Rector and several members of the university council. The Rector of the university expressed appreciation for the author and hoped that the book, as a part of the history of the Kurdish liberation struggle, would serve as an important resource for readers.

The book, written by Dr. Fattah Muhammed Walat Zhery, was introduced by a professor from Shaklawa Technical College. During the ceremony, which was attended by the university rector assistants and some university council members, the Rector thanked the author and hoped that the book would be an important part of the history of the Kurdish struggle for independence and a valuable resource for the readers.

 

 

 

 

Erbil Polytechnic University Lecturer participates in the United States Institute for Scholars (SUSI) Program

Dr. Ali Abdullah Saleh, a lecturer in the Media Technical Department at Erbil Technical Administrative College, participated in the U.S. Institute for Scholars (SUSI) program on Journalism, Technology, and Democracy at Arizona State University’s Cronkite School. The program, hosted by the University of Montana, provided a transformative experience and invaluable insights into U.S. technology, politics, culture, and judicial systems through interactions with esteemed professors and industry experts.
Over 42 days, Dr. Ali stayed in Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. Reflecting on his experience, Dr. Ali stated, “The program significantly enhanced my knowledge in areas such as video production, communication skills, digital media, media literacy, public relations, intercultural communication, disinformation, misinformation, media ethics, and the impact of technology on journalism.”
