The book introduction ceremony for “Kurdish Refugees in Iran 1974-1979” was held in the presence of the Rector of the university.

The official presentation of the book “Kurdish Refugees in Iran 1974-1979” was held in the presence of Prof. Dr.Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, the Rector of Erbil Polytechnic University, took a place.

The ceremony to introduce the book “Refugees of Kurdistan in Iran 1974-1979,” written by Dr. Fattah Mohamed Walat Zhery, took place at Shaklawa Technical College. The ceremony was attended by the Vice-Rector and several members of the university council. The Rector of the university expressed appreciation for the author and hoped that the book, as a part of the history of the Kurdish liberation struggle, would serve as an important resource for readers.

The book, written by Dr. Fattah Muhammed Walat Zhery, was introduced by a professor from Shaklawa Technical College. During the ceremony, which was attended by the university rector assistants and some university council members, the Rector thanked the author and hoped that the book would be an important part of the history of the Kurdish struggle for independence and a valuable resource for the readers.

Dean of Mergasor Technical Institute Participates in Workshop on University Strategic Plan

On Tuesday, December 28, 2025, Dr. Talib Mohammed Sharif Omar, Dean of Mergasor Technical Institute, attended a unique workshop titled “University Leadership and Strategic Planning: American Universities as an Example.”

The workshop, organized in coordination with Erbil Polytechnic University, the Scientific Research Center, and the University Institute, was held at the Presidency of Erbil Polytechnic University in Erbil.

The workshop was run by distinguished American educators Dr. Sally Bryan and Mr. Rick Page, for the University council board members of the Erbil Polytechnic University,

On Tuesday, December 28, 2025, the Dean of Mergasor Technical Institute, Dr. Talib Mohammed Sharif Omar, visited UKH

The visit included an initial meeting with the School of Social Sciences at Kurdistan University Hawler, during the meeting several academic topics were discussed. The meeting aims to foster collaboration and serve the interests of both institutions and communities.

ئەمڕۆ دووشەممە، 27/1/2025، بە ئامادەبوونی پ.د.ئیدریس محەمەد تاهیر هەرکی، سەرۆکی زانکۆی پۆلیتەکنیکی هەولێر، بەیاوەری پ.ی.د. بۆتان مەجید ئاسنگەر، یاریدەدەری سەرۆکی زانکۆ بۆ کاروباری زانستی و خوێندنی باڵا، و پ.ی.د. ڕەنج سیروان، بەڕێوەبەری گشتی سەنتەری توێژینەوەی زانستی، وۆرکشۆپێک لەسەر کاندید و سەرکردایەتی بۆ مامۆستایان و سەرۆک بەشەکانی سەرجەم کۆلێژەکانی سەر بە زانکۆمان ئەنجامدرا.
لە سەرەتای وۆرکشۆپەکەدا، سەرۆکی زانکۆ وتارێکی پێشکەش کرد و دوای بەخێرهێنانی میوانان، ئاماژەی بەوەدا کە ماوەیەکە لەگەڵ پێشکەشکارانی وۆرک شۆپەکە لە پەیوەندیدان و پێکەوە کاردەکەن، ئەمجارە بەشێوەیەکی جیاواز ویستوومانە سوودێکی زیاتر لە بواری سەرکردایەتی و بەڕێوەبردن وەربگرن.

هەروەها سەرۆکی زانکۆ جەختی لەوە کردەوە کە ئەم وۆرکشۆپە نەک تەنیا بۆ مامۆستایان بەڵکو ئەمجارە ویستوویانە ئەنجوومەنی کۆلێژ و پەیمانگاکان و ئەنجوومەنی زانکۆش بەشداربن، بەتایبەتیش سەرۆک بەشەکان کە ڕۆڵێکی گرنگ دەگێڕن لە گۆڕانکاری لە ناو زانکۆکاندا، چونکە ئەوان پردی پەیوەندین لە نێوان قوتابیان و مامۆستایان.

لە کۆتاییدا، هیوای خواست کە ئامادەبووان سوود لە ئەزموونی Dr.Sally و Mr.Rickوەربگرن کە لە ویلایەتە یەکگرتووەکانی ئەمریکاوە هاتوون و وۆرکشۆپەکە بەڕێوەدەبن.
وۆرکشۆپەکە لەلایەن دکتۆرە سالی و مستەر ڕیکەوە پێشکەش کرا، کە بە شێوەیەکی زانستی باسیان لە چەمکەکانی سەرکردایەتی کاریگەر، چۆنیەتی هەڵسەنگاندن و پەرەپێدانی توانای بەڕێوەبردن کرد.
ئامانج لە سازدانی ئەم وۆرکشۆپە، بەرزکردنەوەی ئاستی توانای سەرکردایەتی مامۆستایان و سەرۆک بەشەکانە، هەنگاوێکی گرنگە لە چوارچێوەی هەوڵەکانی زانکۆی پۆلیتەکنیک بۆ و بەرزکردنەوەی ئاستی زانستی و پێشخستنی کەرتی خوێندن.
