On the 8th of June 2022, in collaboration with the Erbil Health Protection Affairs Directorate and the University Health Center, most colleges and institutes Health and Safety Department of the Erbil Polytechnic University presented a workshop about Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF).
The workshop supervisors started performing their presentations in the university Celebration Hall. The EPU Rector Assistant for Administration Affairs Asst.Prof.Dr.Jawdat Jaafer Khatab, several university lecturers, Directors, and the Health and Safety Department were available.
After the welcoming statement, both Dr. Sayfadin Muhyadin, the Head of the Infectious Disease Spread Unit, and Dr. Shwan Kani, the Head of the Common Diseases in the Erbil Health Protection Affairs Directorate, talked about the Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF), its spreading and infection, symptoms, treatment, and death rate for the audience. It is worth mentioning that the workshop will continue for five days.
