Erbil Polytechnic University and Erbil Chamber of Commerce And Industry Opened Labor Training Course For A Number of Alumni

On Thursday 23th of September 2021, Erbil Polytechnic University and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Erbil opened another training course of labor for several EPU alumni, which will continue for two months. The main aim of this course is to encourage and support youth to get jobs and carry out their own business to rely on themselves. For this purpose, all the participants will practically work on a trade project as one team.

The Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry sponsored this training course in collaboration with the Erbil Technical Administration College, supervised by Mr. Zaniar Jabar, lecturer of this college.

In the past four years, such courses were sponsored by U.S General Consulate Erbil, IREX International Organization despite the Erbil Polytechnic University, Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Plan Organization, Rebaz Foundation, and Book Café.

Participation in this program is free of charge. Many of the past attendees of this program are now businessmen and could employ other people with them.

Erbil Polytechnic University and SPARK International University Presented A Training Course

Several academic and business administrative staff of the Erbil Polytechnic University attended a training course organized by the EPU and the SPARK International organization and delivered by Prof. Dr. Hassan Youness, Communication Specialist and University Professor. It continued for about five days from 11 to the 15th of September, 2021, at the Erbil International Hotel.

Six Iraqi and the Kurdistan Region universities, which were: Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Northern Technical University, University of Mosul, Ararat Institute, and Nobel Institute, participated in this training course under the title “Trends of Business: Market Mechanics and Future Careers.”

The training course aims to train the trainers (TOT), the Academic Staff to provide courses that serve in training the students, vulnerable from the host community, refugees, and internally displaced people (IDP) and Youths (hereafter, referred to the students’ beneficiaries).

It is worth mentioning that the Erbil Polytechnic University and SPARK International Organization had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to support refugee students by opening such training courses.

Physiotherapy Department of Erbil Technical Health College Celebrated World Physical Therapy Day

Today 8th of September 2021, the Erbil Technical Health College, Physiotherapy Department  in collaboration with the Medical Staff Syndicate celebrated the World Physical Therapy Day. in this celebration, the official members awarded the governmental and private physiotherpy centers staff with an honorary certificate to appreciate and honour their efforts and hardworks. Dr. Mahdi Khalid, the Head of the Physiotherpy Department of the Erbil Technical Health College attended this ceremony.

World Physical Therapy Day is commemorated annually on September 8. It’s a global observance day that has been celebrated since 1996. The World Confederation for Physical Therapy founded this day to honour and emphasize the hardwork of the physiotherapists, and their vital role in restoring the health of patients through various physiotherapies tailor-made to suit individual patient’s requirements.
