A delegation from Erbil Polytechnic University headed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kawa Sherwani the University’s rector, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jawdat Jafar the Assistant rector for administrative and financial affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ranj Sirwan the director of International office and M. Kovan Omar the director of curriculum development, is participating in workshop on The Development of Internationalization Strategies, Mobility and Research Cooperation.

The workshop takes place at Georg-August-University Gottingen/ Gottingen/ Germany. during 18^th-22^nd February 2019.

The event is a part of The TIGRIS Project which has been awarded for EU co-funding within the framework of the Erasmus+ program“Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education”.

During the three days, the workshop will tackle the internationalization-related to strategy building, International strategy and implementation of mobility programs at RUG, as well as Internationalization strategy on research cooperation.

On 4th of February a delegation from Erbil Polytechnic University headed by Assistant Prof. Dr. Kawa Sherwani, the university rector participated in a workshop that was about ”Project Writing, International Marketing & the use of Management Systems for Smart Administration of Internationalization”.

The workshop held within TIGRIS Project in Europe at Charmo University and it was participated by all the members in Kurdistan region.

It lasts three days and the topics of the discussions will be on Project Writing, International Marketing using social media and websites, as well as Management Systems for Smart Administration of Internationalization.

Within TIGRIS project in Europe. On February 3 2019 Erbil polytechnic university established its international office.

The ceremony was attended by Assistant Prof Dr. Kawa sherwani the University rector, Dr. Khattab Shekhani the general manager for administration and financial affairs at the ministry of higher education, TIGRIS project director Dr. Awe Muss and a number of Universities rectors who are also members in the project.

 The office duties will be organising all the academic relations, signing MOUs’, Exchanging staff and students in collaboration with public relations directory.

TIGRIS project comes with the frame of Erasmus+ programe which is implemented and supported by EU.

On Tuesday 22/1/2019, Erbil polytechnic university (EPU) and erbil chamber of commerce & industry conducted a workshop on employment opportunities.
The workshop was participated by Assistant prof. Dr Kawa sherwani the university’s rector and Dr. Dara Jalil khayat the chairman of the board of Erbil chamber of commerce.

This activity came after a serious of successful joint workshops and training courses targeting EPU students and Erbil youth in general.

On the same day certificates of participation have been awarded to the graduates of the third training course entitled (Develop your business) which is, conducted jointly between EPU and Erbil chamber of commerce.

It is worth it to be mentioning that, the both sides aiming to develop their agreement to the level of conducting international conferences and doing researches. Hoping to help the graduates and serving the field of science in Kurdistan regional.
