Installation of fire extinguisher bottles in our institute

After the approval of Mr. (Prof. Idris Mohammed Tahir Harki) Rector of Erbil Polytechnic University, on the expenditure of money on the revenue of our institute, in order to purchase and fill fire extinguisher bottles for Khabat Technical Institute.
Today, the health and safety department of our institute installed fire extinguisher bottles for students’ dormitories, all scientific departments, computer laboratories, agricultural laboratories, departments, electrical boards and generators of the institute.
It is worth mentioning that the fire extinguisher bottles consisted of all types (powder, hindrance, foam and so2) in the number of (34) pieces.

Huawei-ICT Academy of the Erbil Polytechnic University Made a great success

The Huawei-ICT Academy at the Erbil Polytechnic University has won the 8th semi-finals of the Huawei Global Technology Competition (2023–2024) with the participation of 22 countries from the Middle East and Central Asia.

The competition was held from (18 to 22 /12/ 2023) in Bahrain, in which Huawei ICT Academy of the Erbil Polytechnic University participated as the winning team in Network Track and could win the second place by our two students (Bayar Qahar Qadir) and (Bashar Qahar Qadir). These two students were supervised by the Director of the Academy (Mr. Shirin Abdullah Anwar). Also, another student of the Koya University named (Bawar Zring) participated with our university team.

After this victory, our students as the Huawei ICT Academy of the Erbil Polytechnic University in China are going to participate in the final global round.

It is worth mentioning that the Huawei Academy at Erbil the Polytechnic University was selected as the best academy in Iraq. This is the third year that Huawei Academy of our university has participated in the annual Huawei ICT competition. This year they was able to achieve very good results and reach the world level competition after conducting a number of tests.

Conducting a scientific trip for students

Today Thursday 2023/12/21 our institute conducted a scientific trip for students of the Department of Information Technology in the morning and evening, in the lesson (Computer Organization and Logic Design) to Erbil College of Technology Department of Information Technology and Communication Engineering Practical lessons in the laboratories of the department.
We would like to thank the Dean of the College of Technology and the Presidency of the Department of ICTE for their cooperation and welcome.

A Representative of the Erbil Polytechnic University participates in the Arab Universities Conference for Registration and Admission Affairs in Tunisia

A Representative of the Erbil Polytechnic University participated in the Conference of the Arab Universities for Registration and Admission Affairs which continued from 18/12/2023 to 21/12/2023 in Tunisia.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarsam Khalil Omar, the Director of the Public Registration as a representative of the Erbil Polytechnic University and a member of the Arab Universities Organization for the Registration and Admission Officials participated in the 40th conference of the organization held this year at the University of Tunis Al-Manar in Tunisia.

On the sidelines of the conference, the representative of the Erbil Polytechnic University held several important meetings and interviews with the Iraqi Ambassador in Tunisia and representatives of the participated universities in the conference to exchange information and strengthen relationships in the field of registration and admission to more serve our university students.
