Today, Monday, the 8^th of July, 2024, Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, the Rector of the Erbil Polytechnic University and Asst. Prof. Ranj Sirwan Abdullah, the General Director of the Scientific Research Center participated in the graduation ceremony of the third round of pedagogical training participants held at the Erbil International Hotel.

The ceremony was supervised Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir, the Minister of the Higher Education and Scientific Research who was present with several presidents of public and private universities, ministerial consultants, general directors, directors of pedagogical centers, participants of pedagogical training, and (HAMK) University of Finland.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research delivered a speech in which he talked about the importance of pedagogy and the need for teachers, the education process should not be confined to the halls He thanked the sponsors of the course and wished them better work to serve everyone. He said: “Pedagogy is a very important project and I ask all teachers to participate in it and benefit from this new educational philosophy,”.

It is worth mentioning that 41 teachers from Kurdistan universities completed the third course of pedagogy and obtained international certificates from HAMK University in Finland. Among them were three teachers of the Erbil Polytechnic University. Dr. Hataw, Dr. Dashne, and Mrs. Rawaz

At the end of the ceremony, certificates were distributed upon the course participants.

Today, the 2^nd of Tuesday, July, 2024, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, the Rector of the Erbil Polytechnic University, the Vice Rectors, several deans of colleges and institutes and teachers, the German company (Leybold Didactic) held a seminar about the latest developments in the field of technological and medical laboratory equipment.

The Dean of Erbil Technical College of Health and Medicine, the Heads of Departments and teachers of medical departments participated in the seminar to use it in the medical laboratories of our university in the future to serve more medicine and students.

Today, Monday, the 1^st of July, 2024, a delegation from the US Consulate in Erbil visited the Networking Laboratory/(CISCO) at Erbil Polytechnic University that were received by Asst. Prof. Dr. Botan Majid Asngar, the Vice Rector for Scientific and Higher Education Affairs; Prof. Dr. Keyhan Ghafoor Zrar, the Dean of the Erbil Technology College.

Recently, the US Consulate in Erbil in collaboration with IREX established a Cisco laboratory at Erbil Polytechnic University.

The equipment of this laboratory is provided by the US Consulate and IREX, which will be very useful for the curricula of both departments (ICT) in Erbil Technology College and (ISE) in the Erbil Technical Engineering College. In the near future, the curricula of these two departments will be based on networking/Cisco principles and students will benefit scientifically.

It is worth mentioning that this technology is the latest global technology that is followed in the field of networking and will have a great impact on improving the scientific level of students and our university.

On Wednesday, the 26^th of June, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Botan Majid Asngar, the Vice Rector for Scientific and Higher Education Affairs, received a number of students of Erbil Polytechnic University who are scheduled to go to the Kingdom of Jordan and the Sultanate of Oman soon for summer internships.

In the meeting, Dr. Talib Mohammed Sharif, the Dean of the Mergasor Technical Institute; Abdullah Omer Yasin, the Head of the Cultural Relations of the University Presidency, gave necessary instructions to the students. He advised them to show a beautiful example of the Kurdish people, take advantage of their experience and knowledge and promote the name of Kurds and Kurdistan and make the citizens of these countries familiar with the beautiful Kurdish customs and traditions.

It is worth mentioning that the number of students is six students, from both Erbil Technical Administrative College and Soran Technical College, two of them in Jordan and the other four students in the Sultanate of Oman will conduct summer training and stay in those countries for a month.
