The Rector of the Erbil Polytechnic University attends a meeting of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Today, Monday, the 27th of May, 2024, a delegation of the Erbil Polytechnic University led by Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, the Rector of the Erbil Polytechnic University, participated in a meeting organized by the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The university delegation consisted of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohsin Sharif, thw Dean of the Erbil Administrative Technical College; Asst. Prof. Dr. Ranj Sirwan Abdullah, the General Director of the Scientific Research Center; Asst. Prof. Dr. Afan Osman Hussein, the inSecretary of the University Council, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hemn Kakakhan Awlla Lecturer at Erbil Polytechnic University.

In the meeting, a seminar was presented by Dr. Imad Balak about the first electric vehicle assembly factory in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

During a participation, the President of Erbil Polytechnic University, suggested that the supervisors of the project rely on universities, especially Erbil Polytechnic University, which is the only university in the Kurdistan Region has an automotive technical department and graduates.

In answering a cooment directed by University Rector Dr. Emad Balak said: Dear Prof. Dr. Edrees, I am very pleased for your useful comment. We as a factory and company aim to take advantage of the ability of Kurdish youth and expert students and take advantage of their capabilities when establishing our factory.

It is worth mentioning that the Kurdistan Innovation and Innovation Institute in collaboration with the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Erbil businessmen to cooperate together to strengthen the economic infrastructure of the Kurdistan Region, to benefit businessmen Promoting technology and innovators in the Kurdistan Region.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Erbil Polytechnic University and Several Jordanian universities

On the second day of the Jordanian-Kurdistan Higher Education Meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Erbil Polytechnic University and a number of Jordanian universities.

  Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, the Rector of the Erbil Polytechnic University. Asst. Prof. Dr. Botan Majid Asnger, the Vice Rector for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education; Asst. Prof. Dr. Ranj Sirwan Abdullah, the General Director of the Scientific Research Center of our university, participated in the second day of the meeting between the Kurdistan Region and Jordan, which began yesterday Sunday, the 5th of May, 2024, in Erbil under the title (Depicting the future through sustainable development).

On the sidelines of the second day of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Erbil Polytechnic University and several Jordanian universities.

In the meeting, the attendees discussed various aspects of higher education in Jordan and the Kurdistan Region, especially (quality assurance in higher education, scientific research, sustainable education, internationalization of higher education, practice of teaching methods in medical specialties, technical and vocational education and training , entrepreneurship and innovation in higher education with information technology and artificial intelligence).

The Rector’s representative attends a scientific conference on Pharmacy Field

Today, Tuesday, May 28, 2024, on behalf of Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, the Rector of the Erbil Polytechnic University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tiran Jamil Piro, the Dean of Erbil Medical Technical Institute, participated in the 4th National Scientific Conference on Pharmacy arranged by the Tishk International University.

In the conference, several teachers of the department of Pharmacy of the Erbil Medical Technical Institute, the latest scientific research in the field of pharmacy was presented and discussed.

Erbil Polytechnic University has fulfilled its ninth course of pedagogy

On Tuesday, the 21st of May, 2024, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, the Rector of Erbil Polytechnic University; Asst. Prof. Zhala Saeed Khatat, the General Director of the Research and Development Office in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Andam, the Head of Pedagogy in the Ministry of Higher Education, the Vice Rectors and the General Director of Scientific Research Center The ninth pedagogical course ended in a ceremony and certificates were distributed to the participants.

At the beginning, the Rector of Erbil Polytechnic University welcomed the guests and congratulated the graduates of the course and highlighted the importance of the course and said: “Dear graduates of the ninth course of pedagogy in Erbil Polytechnic University, Congratulations, by completing this course you will go to the final stage to receive a new and sacred name, especially the name of a university professor, which is a high and sacred name not only in our society but in all societies The strongest country in the world is looking for a job. Most of them find a job as teachers and become university professors. In many other countries, even in Iran, former President Ahmadinejad said: It is important, we hope you succeed in winning that title.”

“To become a successful teacher, you must have love for your profession. If you want to be successful, you must love your profession. As a successful teacher, if you want to be successful, first of all think about love teaching If you do that, you will surely respect your surroundings, the classroom you enter, the equipment in the classroom, the students sitting there with your colleagues in your profession We hope you will succeed and become a successful teacher in Kurdistan universities and be able to serve more young people who come to university so that they can take their place in society according to their expertise.

At the end of the ceremony, graduation certificates were awarded to the teachers participating in the ninth course of pedagogy at Erbil Polytechnic University.

It is worth mentioning that the participants of the ninth course of pedagogy in Erbil Polytechnic University consisted of 71 students who supervised a number of teachers inside and outside Erbil Polytechnic University for six months.
