The Executive Board of the Polytechnic Journal held a seminar on the progress of the journal during the year

Today, Tuesday, the 14th of May, 2024, under the supervision of the Rector of the Erbil Polytechnic University, Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki and Asst. Prof. Dr. Botan Majid Asngar the Vice University Rector for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education held a seminar entitled “Polytechnic Journal; An Assessment Between Yesterday and Today (A Comprehensive Look at Polytechnic Journal’s Annual Evaluation and Policy Enhancements)”.

In the seminar, the Rector, his assistants, some members of the council, Dr. Karzan Karim Khawrahm, the advisor of the Council of Ministers and Dr. Amir Chali, Advisor of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Galawezh Obaid, and Former Member of Kurdistan Parliament were present.

The guests were welcomed by the Executive Committee of the journal on behalf of the Rector. Prof. Dr. Keyhan Zrar, the Dean of the Erbil Technology College, while the editorial board of the magazine highlighted the magazine and the steps of working and improving it.

Later, Asst. Prof. Karwan Wasman, the Executive Board and the Director of the Polytechnic Magazine welcomed the participants and then reminded the participants that last year at this time on 5/3 the presentation ceremony of Polytechnic Magazine was held in the same place.

He presented some important data to the audience, and explained the reasons for the results of these data, adding that these data are very important for the journal board and for researchers is more important that researchers publish their research in which journal and why they choose this journal.

After a full year of the Polytechnic Journal, they presented several reports that were the results of this year’s work of the Executive Board in which the progress and follow-up of the journal was presented to the audience The journal features research published in all sectors of government, higher education, organizations and businesses around the world, including more than 200 universities and institutes in more than 91 countries. The Polytechnic Journal, which is a gateway for local evaluators to become global evaluators, was also highlighted.
