On Sunday, the 3rd of March, 2024, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, the Rector of the Erbil Polytechnic University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Botan Majid Ahmed, the Vice Rector for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulkhaliq Nader Qadir, the Dean of the Shaqlawa Technical College and the Chairman of the Committee of Administrative Specialties Sector in the Erbil Polytechnic University, held a workshop entitled “Review and Arrangement of Curricula of Administrative Departments”.
This workshop lasted for three hours, with the participation of all the heads of administrative departments of our university, which consists of 26 heads of departments. They intensively discussed about changing several curricula within the curriculum of scientific departments and Changing the names of several scientific departments to suit the labor market and changing them to modern names so that students who graduate from that department can easily find job opportunities in the future.
The workshop is the beginning of several important changes to further develop the scientific departments of administration and keep up with the scientific developments and changes of the current period, and also adapt to the labor market.
