On Monday, the 29th of December, 2024, Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, the Rector of the Erbil Polytechnic University, Prof. Dr. Azad Hassan Qadir, the Vice Rector for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Asst. Prof. Dr. Yousef Mustafa Rasul, the Vice Rector for Students Affairs participated in an activity of the Technical Department of International Marketing and Language in the Erbil Technical Administrative College.
The activity included the organization and management of a special program by the Technical Department of International Marketing and Language under the name of practical training, which the rector and his colleagues participated in and several students presented their practical training in the form of seminars.
The seminars were supervised by a special committee of the academic staff of the same department. After the scientific discussions between the students and their supervisors, the university Rector suggested more meetings to pay more attention to the department so that the students can benefit more and find job opportunities. The students were happy with the support and assistance of the rector.
It is worth mentioning that the teachers of the department conduct similar seminars monthly to students to identify their shortcomings, then ask them to conduct seminars.
It is worth mentioning that 80% of the students of this department have found jobs so far. The department supports the government’s decision that requires young people and students to find jobs for themselves.
