On Thursday 6^th of January 2022, the Erbil Polytechnic University and Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebrated another training course fulfillment of advanced business training. In this celebration, the EPU Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Kawa Abdulkareem Sherwani and the Erbil Chamber Of Commerce and Industry President Dara Jalil Khayat were present at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hall.

At this event, the EPU Rector Assistant for scientific affairs, several Directors, and Administrative Council Officers of Chamber of Commerce and Industry were available. They offered certificates of participation to thirty-four participants.

The Advanced Course is a practical and theoretical business course that supports young people to change their thoughts to work and business. This course is managed by Mr. Zanyar Jabar, the Erbil Technical Administration college/Business Management Department Lecturer, and sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry that continued for two months, 24 hours in eight weeks, once a week, three hours a day.

EPU, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the seventh time, opened such a course. Thirty-four people attended this course. These activities between EPU and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry are the product of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by both parties in 2017. Since then, they have held such training for university graduators at least twice a year.

One of Erbil Polytechnic University’s academic staff attended a Europe Internship Programme specialized in Engineering, and he received a certification. This programme lasted for three months in Germany.

In collaboration with ETTC Organization, the Kurdistan Engineers Syndicate announced an internship programme. After evaluating the vast number of applicants by the Syndicate, Mr. Ali Dlsoz Kamal from the Erbil Technical Engineering College was the only engineer the Syndicate had chosen to work at AJG Company for about three months.

This programme started from 16/09/2021 to 29/11/2021, in which the named EPU lecturer received an Attendance Certification. It is worth mentioning, the aim behind this participation is to get more experience in the work style at the AJG Company.

The Electricity Department of the Erbil Technology College will open an educational course, “Classic Control,” on the 9^th of February 2022 that will continue for 12 days. Anyone who desires to participate in this training course can visit the named department in the Erbil Technology College to register for the course.

Note: the participation cost of this course is 100,000 IQD.

In collaboration with the Bright Day Organization, the Material and Construction Technology Department of the Erbil Technology College of the EPU will open a training course, “Total Station,” on 20^th January 2022 that will continue for nine days. Anyone who desires to participate in this training course can visit the named department in the Erbil Technology College to register for the course.
