On Tuesday, 9th of November 2021, the EPU Health and Safety Directorate, in collaboration with the Erbil Health General Directorate/ the Medical practice Directorate, completed a two-day workshop. The workshop topic was first aid for the Erbil Technology College lecturers and staff.
The Aid Department Director, Mr. Rizgar Abdulkhaliq Abdulrazaq, delivered the course, which continued for two days.
Among the activities and works of the EPU International Relations and Career Center Directorates, in collaboration with SPARK International Organization, opened three training course training courses of English language (Two Levels) and Administration for the Syrian refugees and Iraqi citizens in Erbil.

On Sunday 24th of October 2021, the Erbil Polytechnic University Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Kawa Abdulkareem Sherwani received the Poland Consul Mr. Dominic Mushat.
In this meeting, the Rector Assistant for the Students Affairs, the Scientific Director, the International Relations Department, and the Curriculum Development Department Director. The EPU Rector received the Poland Consul and expressed his pleasure and appreciation for his visit to the university.
His Excellency, the EPU Rector, talked about the EPU briefly, and then the Poland Consul talked briefly about Poland universities and the education system there. He showed his collaboration and support to build relationships between the Erbil Polytechnic University and Poland universities. He assured his support in collaborating and facilitating with our university applicants to the higher education study in his country.
In the meeting, they talked about developing and widening the relationship between our university and Poland universities. Recently, the EPU has signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with two Poland universities. In collaboration with our university, they will open training courses for our university students and staff to benefit from the Poland universities’ experience.
