To celebrate the Kurdistan March Rising Memories of 1991, Erbil Polytechnic University opened a Football League for the morning and evening shift students of Shaqlawa Technical Institute and Environment Protectors. In this league, seven teams participated. The Shaqlawa Technical College Dean, Dr. Abdulkhaliq, the Officer of Safin Branch of the Kurdistan Union Students, attended this final league.
On the 5th of April 2021, the final game was played by Environment Protectors and First-Year Evening Students of Disease Analysis Department, who scored 2-1 galls. The Environment Protectors became the champion of this league, and they have been rewarded by the Shaqlawa Technical College Dean and guests of the event.
