The International Office of Erbil Polytechnic University would like to share the announcement of a scholarship 2021 offered by one of the highest university in Malaysia (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)). These Scholarships provide Masters and Doctoral programs, which are fully funded.

Erbil Polytechnic University Fulfilled The Virtual Reality Training Course Of The Global Solutions Sustainability Challenge

A group of students from Erbil Polytechnic University successfully completed the second cohort of the Global Solutions Sustainability Challenge (Virtual Reality Training Course), which started from 16/02/2020 till 11/04/2020. Fifty students from different colleges and institutes participated in the international virtual training alongside students from community colleges in the United States, universities of Jordan and Iraq. The program facilitated by Dr. Abdullah Omar Yassen, Dr. Dashne Azad Sedeeq, and Mr. Hawro Dlawar Ismael Masseh.

Global Solutions Sustainability Challenge has provided EPU students with the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to adapt to today’s workforce while giving them the ability to engage in the cultural exchange with partners from around the world and their communities. Erbil Polytechnic University is one of the three universities in Iraq who are part of this international program. It is worth to be mentioned that the International Relations Office of EPU supervises this program.

Global Solutions is funded by the Stevens Initiative, which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, with funding provided by the U.S. Government, which is administered by the Aspen Institute and implemented by IREX. It also supported by the Bezos Family Foundation and the government of Morocco and the United Arab Emirates.

A Delegation of Erbil Polytechnic University participates in a training course at the International University of Göttingen in Germany

A Delegation of Erbil Polytechnic University participates in a training course under the title “TIGRIS Training Workshop for International Relations: Managers and Officers.” This training is co-funded by the ERASMUS+ Program of the European Union and hosted by the University of Göttingen (an internationally renowned research university of Germany) in Germany from 02-13 of March 2020.

This project has been awarded by EU co-funding within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Program, aimed to build capacity in the field of higher education, which implements two parts. The first week of the workshop will focus on training the directors and officers of international offices of the universities while in the second week, it will concentrate on preparing the officers.

It is worth to be mentioned that ten universities of Kurdistan Region-Iraq have attended this training course that will last for 12 days.
