The International Relations Office (IRO) of Erbil Polytechnic University (EPU) is delighted to host Professor Dr. Andrea Membretti, a senior researcher at EURAC Research in Bolzano, Italy. Professor Membretti is also a scientific coordinator of the European Commission Horizon 2020 Matilde Project.
He will present an online seminar on “A New Compulsion to Locality.” During the seminar, Prof. Membretti will discuss the role of rural and mountain areas in respect of mobility and proximity during and post COVID-19 pandemic.
This seminar is part of ongoing activities between EPU and EURAC Research. To strengthen international strategy, EPU has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with EURAC Research on 5th February 2020.
