On Tuesday March 23 2019, Erbil polytechnic university held a workshop entitled ” The effects of Pesticides and Chemical Fertilizers on environment” .
The workshop was organised by Khabat technical institute and EPU research center in collaboration with Erbil Chamber of commerce and industry.
The workshop dealt with different topics starting with a seminar about Health risk assessment of heavy metals in plant by Prof Dr. Dlshad Aziz from Sallahaddind university’s college of science.
Then a panel on the environment pollution in the scientific perspective and its results. Followed by a seminar on Detrimental effects of chemical pesticides on environment.
