Dean of Mergasor Technical Institute visits Zom Company in Erbil
Today. November 22, 2023, Dr. Talib MohammedSharif Omer, Dean of Mergasor Technical Institute/Erbil Polytechnic University visited Zom Company and was welcomed by Blend Kurdo, Chief of staff and Abdulaziz Sherwani, General manager of the ZOM company.
Throughout the meeting, they discussed the establishment and development of relations between Mergasor Technical Institute and Zom Company, and to cooperate and coordinate between them in the development of the Mergasor Technical Institute.
Additionally, both sides discussed the labor market needs in the benefit of community. Considering this, the Zom Company will be ready of assistance to Mergasor Technical Institute in terms of providing laboratories and human resources especially for the department of beekeeping.

Mergasor Technical Institute and American Porterville College in California become a sister college

In an online meeting attended by Dr. Najib Toma, Vice Rector, Dr. Talib Mohammed Sharif Omar, Dean of Mergasor Technical Institute and Dr. Ranj Sirwan, Director of Academic Relations of Erbil Polytechnic University.
The meeting discussed the agreement between the two sides, which consists of a joint work plan and program for three years in various scientific, academic and administrative fields.

It is worth mentioning that Mergasor Technical Institute and Porterville College have been working on this project for more than a year. For this purpose, Erbil Polytechnic University has signed a memorandum of understanding obo Mergasor Technical Institute and Kearn University obo Porterville College.

A workshop conducted in Mergasor Technical Institute for the first year students of both Nursing and Business Administration departments (Morning/Evening Classes).

On Saturday, November 11, 2023, in the presence of the Dean of the Institute Dr. Talib Omer and Vice Dean Mr Sarbast Nasir, a workshop was condcuted for the first year students of both departments of Nursing and Business of Mergasor Technical Institute.

At the beginning, the Dean of the institute delivered a speech in which he welcomed and congratulated the students on the new academic year and said: Such workshops are very useful for students through which they are given skills of first aid and clarity on how to behave and adapt to the environment.
The workshop consisted of three seminars in the fields of (how to use the model system, skills of first aid and how to behave in academic institutions).
It is worth mentioning that the students gained experience and benefited greatly from the subjects presented, especially in the field of models through which students can see their daily tasks, exam results and grades in a modern way.

The first graduation ceremony of Mergasor Technical Institute (Class of 2023) was held under the slogan of “Resistance and Self-Building”.

The graduation ceremony of the first round of students of Mergasor Technical Institute was held today with the participation of Mr. Mala Mustafa Masoud Barzani and a number of senior government officials.

At the end of the ceremony, the graduates of the first round of the institute were awarded by Mr. Mala Mustafa Barzani. The staff and students thanked Mr Barzani for his continuous support to the institute.
