On Thursday, May 8, 2025, in the presence of the Dean of Erbil Technical College of Engineering, Prof. Ayad Zaki Saber, in coordination with the Assistant Dean of the College, Dr. Bazian Younis Mohiuddin and EPU Youthmapper Students Chapter officials Gulpa Ali Mahmoud and Mr. Kamal Yasin Abdullah, Coordinator of Honors Delvin Hassan Omar, a ceremony was held to honor teachers and students participating in the flood fighting project.
In this project, which lasted about six months, the students volunteered to map the area of Qushtapa, which was a large area, a difficult and long work. In return for the scientific efforts of the teachers and students, Mr. Prof. Ayad Zaki Saber in a speech emphasized the important aspects of volunteer work and its beneficial consequences and appreciated the role of teachers, students, officials and organizers, then they were awarded certificates of honor and wished them eternal success.
