A Delegation Of Erbil Polytechnic University Visits Several Polish universities

A delegation of the Erbil Polytechnic University (EPU) has visited several Polish universities to develop relationships with foreign universities.
The delegation consisted of Dr. Nageb Toma Bato, the Rector Assistant for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education; University Professor Wala arrived in Poland on an official visit.
Our university delegation visited several universities in Warsaw, Puask, and Wroslavl, as well as visited the governor of Puask.

The Erbil Polytechnic University delegation aimed to work and cooperate within the framework of the European Union Erasmus Plus program, and cultural exchange and coordination of scientific activities between our university and the universities of that country.
During the visit, our university delegation signed several memoranda of understanding with Polish universities, Warsaw University of Life Sciences- SGGW, the Mazovian Academy in Plock, and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology-Wroclaw.

On Wednesday 2022/12/14 three seminars were presented under the supervision of Assist Prof. Dr. Botan Majid Asngar Dean of Erbil Technology College, the first seminar by (Ms. Sivan Hussein Ali) under the title (Free space Laser Communication) The second seminar by (Ms. Sazan Ali Kamal) under the title (Using Efficient LOU loss function ln point Pillars Network for Detecting 3D object). Third by (Ms. Miasa Hatam Aswad) under the title (Food additives).

The Rector attended a meeting of the Ministry of Higher Education with the Chairman of the Jordanian Quality Assurance Board

The Erbil Polytechnic University Rector Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamed Tahir Harki attended a meeting of the Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry of the Kurdistan Regional Government with a large delegation from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Jordan.

Today the 13th of December 2022, the Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister, Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir received a delegation from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Jordan Dr. Zafar al-Saraira, the chairman of the Higher Education Institutions Accreditation and Quality Assurance Board, and several university rectors, secretaries, and other members of the Higher Education Council of this country.

In a meeting where the Deputy Minister and several Kurdistan university rectors, advisors, and general directors were available, they discussed several important issues including the exchange of students and common experiences, cooperation, and work to intensify the development of bilateral relationships in various fields.

In this meeting, the attendees emphasized the development of relationships between the Kurdistan Regional Government and Jordanian universities, especially holding meetings and scientific conferences between Erbil Polytechnic University and Yarmouk University in Jordan.

Erbil Polytechnic University Organizes a seminar for first-year students of Erbil Technical College of Engineering

On Sunday, the 11th of December 2022, the Erbil Polytechnic University organized a seminar for the first-year students of the Erbil Technical Engineering College entitled “University is a Sector for individual Balance and Change Towards a Brighter Future”.

At the seminar where the Rector Assistant for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Yousif Mustafa Rasul, Dean of Erbil Technical Engineering College Dr. Ayad Zaki, the Director of General Registry of the University Presidency Dr.Sarsam Khalil Omar, the Director of Quality Assurance of the Presidency of the University, Kamal Mohammed Abdullah and several lecturers in the library hall of Erbil Technical Engineering College.

During the seminar, Ms. Avan explained how students behave in college, get acquainted with the university environment, how students deal with lecturers and friends, use laboratories and college equipment, and several other topics related to student life directed and they were answered.
