Erbil Polytechnic University Rector Receives Interior Ministry Delegation

On Tuesday the 2nd of August 2022, Erbil Polytechnic University Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki received a delegation of the Crime Evidences General Directorate Interior Ministry of Kurdistan Regional Government in his office at the university presidency. The Interior Ministry delegation members consisted of Brigadier General Sarkawt Jalal Hassan, Colonel Araz Muhamad Mawlud, and Captain Araz Latif Hamad.

In a meeting, both the Erbil Technical Medical Institute Dean Asst. Prof. Mr. Umed Arshad Hawezi, Mergasur Technical Institute Dean Dr. Talib Omer discussed both parties’ collaboration to provide necessary things of the library and practical lecturers for the Crime Evidences Department Students of the Erbil Technical Medical Institute to be ready for the new academic study year.

Erbil Polytechnic University Delegation Participates In UN Higher Committee Workshop For Refugees

On Wednesday, the 27th of July 2022, the Erbil Polytechnic University delegation consisting of the university Rector Assistant for Scientific Affairs and the International Relations Office Department Director attended the UN Higher Committee Workshop for refugees-UNHCR Iraqi Representative and the 30th-anniversary celebration of the Foundation of the DAFI Organization for Refugees.

About 100 refugee students participated in this celebration and completed their studies at Iraq and Kurdistan Region universities with the two organizations’ support.

Erbil Polytechnic University Rector Supervised Higher Committee of Students Admission Based On Polytechnic System

On Tuesday, the 26th of July 2022, the Erbil Polytechnic University Rector headed the Higher Committee of Instructions Review of Students Admission based in polytechnic universities at the University Presidency.

In a meeting with the Director of the Students Admission Center, Mr. Aram Ibrahim Qanber, the Public Registration Director of the Erbil Polytechnic University, Dr. Sarsam Khalil Omer, the Public Registration Director of the Duhok Polytechnic University Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawzat Sadiq Ahmed and the Public Registration Director of the Sulaymaniyah Polytechnic University, Dr. Bakhtyar Abid Sharif were present; they talked about reviewing the Students Admissions Construction according to the polytechnic system all over the Kurdistan Region Polytechnic Universities for the academic year 2022-2023.

Research and Papers Application Have Started For Third International Conference On Social Transformation And Regional Development

Our University announced applying for the Third International Conference on Social Transformation and Regional Development in November 2022. The conference will be organized jointly by Duhok Polytechnic University, Institute for Social Transformation (Transform) Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), and Erbil Polytechnic University. To participate in this conference, the author should apply their research and papers through the below link.

It is worth mentioning that the accepted research and papers will be published in the Erbil Polytechnic University Magazine and Journal of Social Transformation and Regional Development of UTHM and they are also supposed to be published in Scopus Journal.   

Note: the deadline for applying papers and research will be on the 20th of September, 2022.
