Department of Nursing in Taqtaq as a department of medical science in Erbil Polytechnic University-Koya Technical Institute was opened in 2018 in Taqtaq city beside the small river. The Bologna process is implemented as an educational system, The study in this department consists of two stages, each stage consisting of two semesters. So far, about 250 students have graduated from three courses of online, parallel and evening education.
Our department only accepts high school graduates (scientific branch) through the electronic form (Zankoline).
Vision
- The Vision of Taqtaq Nursing Department is to provide coordinated health workers and leaders to change the lives of individuals and communities by paying attention to innovation and health care.
- Educating a compassionate, loyal and skilled nurse for the hospital and the community.
- Every nursing student who graduates from our department carries a message full of knowledge of nursing specialty who can work at different departments of hospitals and health centers inside and outside the country.
