      The Department of Management Information Systems was opened at the Administrative Technical Institute in Erbil based on the university order issued by Erbil Polytechnic University / No. (1706) on (12/3/2013) and for the academic year 2013/2014 and for the development and progress taking place in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the region’s need for Specialists in the field of computer and information systems in the private sector represented by companies, organizations and government agencies deployed in them, and the government for these technical cadres. The graduate of this department obtains a technical diploma after completing the study requirements represented by two academic years and training for two months in departments or companies, and what is known as summer training, and it is in the second year Usually in the month of July and until the end of August, according to the Bologna System (ECTS) on four semesters, each semester in which 5 basic subjects are taught.
